Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
(John 14: 27)
Finding Inner Peace
Uncertainty about today’s world events can cause dismay to many. World news can be mainly negative. And closer to home, your own personal world or your private life events may not be to your liking or even be discouraging to you at this moment.
Know that the Lord Jesus can turn things around for you. The Lord Jesus has a personal invitation for you and waits for you to ask for more of his involvement in your personal life.
Accept God’s invitation by saying this prayer. Turn over any fear, excessive worry, or emptiness in your life to the Lord God — even now, pray aloud this prayer, direct to God:
“Lord Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins, and I believe that You rose again from the dead on the third day. I ask forgiveness for all my sins, Lord God. And I open my heart, and I ask you, Lord Jesus, to come inside and be my Savior. I ask for your inner peace in my life. In Jesus’ Name, I pray. Amen.”
Then come to know the Lord in a sure way — by spending personal time with Jesus — by daily reading His Word, the Christian Bible, and praying (with respect) to Him.
Come, participate in our church Sunday worship (10:00 am), where practical Bible messages will help explain Bible passages for you!
Please Pray with Us
Lord Holy Spirit, you are the promised Counselor,
as taught by the Lord Jesus.
I humbly ask that You help me in my personal life.
Please work mightily inside my spirit, soul, and body.
In spite of this negative world, be my Almighty Counselor who gives me victory over all harmful situations.
I give You my thanksgiving and praise, Lord Holy Spirit. Amen.
